Appian Deployment MCP

The Deployment MCP enables developers to initiate and manage deployment pipelines for their Appian environments from any MCP-compatible AI client. It codifies deployment best practices — like pre-deployment inspection — and reinforces them for every pipeline run. Supporting single and multi-environment configurations, it simplifies deployments by letting the AI client perform actions, parse results, and help troubleshoot errors from a familiar chat experience.

• Support for all Appian supported endpoints: Packages, Releases, Export, Deploy, Results, Deployment Log, etc.
• Export packages and applications from configured Appian environments
• Export by releases from configured Appian environments
• Deploy packages with deployment artifacts: database scripts, plug-ins, and import customization files
• Define and execute multi-environment deployment pipelines with approval gates
• Enforce deployment best practices through built-in inspect-before-deploy workflow
• Automate end-to-end deployments through a pipeline with intervention only when errors occur
• Construct properly formatted database script ZIP files compatible with the Appian deployment pipeline
