AWS Assume Role

This plugin allows users to be able to connect with AWS to provide trusted users with temporary security credentials that will access to other AWS resources

The Amazon S3 Utilities Plug-in leverages the Amazon AWS Java API to connect with Amazon STS to retrieve temporary credentials.

The Appian Secure Credential Store is leveraged for the credentials to integrate with Amazon STS. Before executing the plug-in, create an new secure credential store with the following 2 attributes. These values are obtained from Amazon AWS IAM console.

accesskeyid: this is the access key id for connecting to AWS S3 accesskeysecret: this is the access key secret for connecting to AWS S3

For the roleARN this will be created in the AWS IAM Console. For the role, the user your using for the accesskeyid and accesskeysecret will need to have the correct permissions to assume a role. Directions on how to do this can be found in the links below.
