Render Avatars for Presentation

When creating presentations or other content it's a common need to include callouts to individuals or teams. It is tedious to collect the right names, titles, and especially images for the individual people. However, Appian already has this information, so Appian can render avatars for you.

Render Avatar for Presentation is part of the Appian App Accelerators (A3) suite.

Dependencies:

• Color Picker Plug-in
• Expression Utils Application

This application provides an Action which any user can use to render collections of avatars. The user selects people and selects rendering configurations like the name format. A quick-start option is available - just select a group. Rendering options for image & text size, name format, titles, and custom colors are available as well. Takes a 15 min task and turns it into a 30 second one!

If you would like your users to make use of the quick-start option, configure the A3_RAP_getConfiguration rule.
